JUSTIN CHEN

There is no cityscape more influential in my development as a photographic artist than the New york city, the largtest city in the U.S. An architectural marvel with plenty of historic monuments. Magnificent buildings and countless dazzling skyscrapers. Besides architectural delights, New York city is an urban jungle full of hustle and bustle. I found myself trying to capture what it is like to stand overlooking the New york city, not what it looks like but rather what it feels like.

In this serise photgraph < Des New York> you can see and feel the metropolitan sophistication. It is somthing of the New York city, that you wouldn’t reach, unless you spend some time there as I did.

I developed a passion for photography at a very young age, and I still remember fiddling around with my dad’s old Fujifilm. My work explores and combines cityscape and people to talk about my experience that resonate with me in a subliminal way.

Justin currently majors industrial design in Emily Carr university of Art and Design. He resides and studies in Vancouver. His photograph is appreciated by young groups of metropolitans
